5-LAYER OXYGEN BARRIER TECHNOLOGY
PERT 5-Layer Oxygen Barrier Line adopts multi machine co-extrusion molding technology to achieve high-strength bonding of the five layer structure. The EVOH oxygen resistance layer is reliably embedded in the middle layer of the PERT pipe body, isolated from hot water, and the outer PERT protective layer ensures that its oxygen resistance performance is not affected during transportation and installation, ensuring the efficient operation of the pipeline transportation system.
Five Layer Oxygen Barrier Pipe Structure
Due to the high sensitivity of EVOH material to processing temperature, overheating can cause it to decompose and adhere to the metal surface, causing blockage of the extruder. Therefore, it is necessary to use extrusion equipment with high temperature control accuracy. The single screw extruder designed by BAST is specifically suitable for the heating and extrusion treatment of EVOH materials. The independently designed extrusion system for each layer ensures production flexibility, and the centralized control system provides good usability. A good extrusion system design can effectively avoid overheating of the melt, while also allowing the product to achieve excellent plasticization characteristics.

The co-extrusion ring adopts a planar helical structure with pre-distribution. It has the characteristics of short process distribution and no dead zone. The measured EVOH is distributed in 60 ~ 80u, which not only ensures good barrier effect, but also greatly saves the use of valuable materials. Single screw extruder CE60-36 electric cabinet adopts fully sealed design, standard water cooling air conditioning can ensure that the equipment operates in a constant temperature and humidity environment, dust is not easy to enter, greatly prolong the service life of electrical components, and reduce maintenance costs. All electrical components use international famous brands to ensure the efficient and stable operation of the equipment.
The communication between the control system and the extruder frequency conversion controller, as well as the traction machine and frequency conversion controller are digital signals, equipped with stronganti-interference ability, which ensure the accuracy of control and feedback. All communications are connected by Ethernet to meet the requirements of Industry 4.0 data collection, and visual production and remote monitoring can be expanded later.
Vacuum tank V32 is made of 304 stainless steel, primary color with tempered glass design, easy to observe pipe situation. Centralized water supply and drainage, vacuum frequency conversion and fast vacuum ensure that the pipe achieve the best molding results.
The immersion cooling tank B32 is also made of 304 stainless steel. The unique new round trip wheel immersion structure increases the cooling length by two times, enhances the cooling effect, but saves resources and space, and ensures the high-speed and stable production of pipes.
Automatic coiling machine WA11B has the functions of automatic wiring, cutting and rewinding, double station coiling. Wiring, coiling and rewinding drive using independent servo motor, precise control through digital programming, automatic roll changing, cutting and clamping, to avoid the pipe cache and rewinding time waste and the possibility of operation errors.
